Trekking is considered to be one of the famous adventure sports in India. Unexplored jungles, breathtaking beauty of the mountains and hills offer enthralling trekking routes. Trekking has not been very common in South India, but here we will try and explore the unexplored parts of the nature in wilds of South India, considered to be God’s own country.

Arrival at Kochi International Airport, on arrival transfer to the Hotel.
Today we proceed for sightseeing of Cochin. Visit the Mattancherry Palace – also called the Dutch Palace, the Clock Tower, Santa Curze Basilica, The synagogue built in the 18th century and the St. Francis church, and then the Chinese Fishing Nets. Evening sunset cruise and Kathakali Dance Show in a nearby theatre.
Today we travel to theThattekad Bird Sanctuary(approx 70 km / 2hrs), covering an area of hardly 25 km², and located north-east of Kochi is one of the important bird sanctuaries of India.Salim Ali, one of the best known ornithologist has described this sanctuary as “the richest bird habitat on peninsular India”. The literal meaning of Thattekad is flat forest, the region is an evergreen low-land forest and is located between the branches of Periyar River, the longest river in Kerala.
Today after breakfast trek through the lowland rain forests at Edamalayar. Picinic lunch will be served under the open sky. Later return to the camp.
Today drive to Munnar (approx 150km /4½ hrs)After lunch trek to the Rhodendrons grow wild at over 7000 feet if time permits, else explore the beautiful hill station on foot. Spend overnight in comfortable Lodge. Explore Selva Malai, trek to waterfall and pools nearby Stargazing by the Campfire.
After breakfast Trek to Meesapulimala - truly the "top of the world" where you can see the plains of Tamil Nadu and Kodaikanal across the deep gorge. View the spectacular deep ravines of Silent Valley.
After breakfast check out the camp and drive to Thekkady. Evening jungle excursion by boat.

we drive to Alleppey (approx 150 km /4 hrs) to board rice boat for our cruise through the small canals and Vembanadu Lake. Arrive Alleppey and embark the House boat that comprises twin rooms with attached bathrooms , running water and a lounge area in which to relax and enjoy the sights on the shore. Cruise through the backwaters of Alleppey, which is hailed as the ‘ Venice of the east’, because of its intricated maized and backwaters, cannals and bridges. In the boat you can enjoy the traditional Kerala style dishes .
The very next day we drive to Kochi International Airport to fly back to your home.
