Day by day itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival at Colombo – Negombo
Arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport. Upon arrival, short drive (20 min approx) to Negombo. Negombo is a city on the west coast of Sri Lanka, north of the capital, Colombo. Near the waterfront, the remains of the 17th-century Dutch Fort now house a prison. Negombo Lagoon, lined with fishermen’s huts, feeds into the Dutch-era Hamilton Canal. The canal leads south to Colombo.

Day 02: Negombo – Kandy en route Pinnawala
Today after breakfast we proceed for a short orientation tour of Colombo. Leave for Kandy. En route visit to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. In Kandy enjoy a city tour by tuk-tuk. Early evening visit to the traditional show with Kandyan dances. Check into the Hotel.

Day 03: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya en route Peradeniya
Today after breakfast we drive to the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden. After the visit leave for Nuwara Eliya. En route visit to the Tea Plantation and explore how the finest tea is made in the country.

Day 04: Nuwara Eliya – Ella – Haputhale
Today after breakfast we drive to the Nuwara Eliya Railway Station to board the train to Ella (2½ – 3 hrs journey). This is the most picturesque route in Sri Lanka. Explore Ella. Visit Little Adam’s Peak and the famous Nine Arches Bridge. Proceed to Haputhale.

Day 05: Haputhale – Yala National Park
After breakfast we proceed to Yala. Yala is said to be the best park in Sri Lanka. In the evening enjoy a Jeep Safari at Yala National Park.

Day 06: Yala National Park – Kosgoda – Balapitiya – Beruwala Beach
Today after having your breakfast we drive to Beruwala. En route visit the Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda and enjoy a mangrove safari boat ride in Balapitiya. Check in to the Hotel.
