Today drive to Kodaikanal (approx 250km / 7.5 hrs). Upon arrival, check in to Hotel. Later sightseeing of Kodaikanal visit; Pillar rock, Green Valley View, Coaker’s walk & Pine forest.
Madurai (approx 120 km / 3hrs) , it is one of India’s oldest cities and has been a centre of learning and pilgrimage for centuries. Places to visit: Meenakshi Temple , Thirumala Naik Palace
Karaikudi (approx 90 km / 2 hrs) is traditionally part of the ancestral home of the Chettiyars. Evening explore Karakkudi….Rest of the day free to relax and enjoy the Chettinad cuisine.
Today drive to Trichy, which is also refer as Tiruchirapalli & it is situated on the bank of Kaveri river. Then visit; Rock fort ( Uchhi Pillar Koli ) & it is approximately 3800 years oldest monument of the world & Temple of Lord Ganesha. After that drive to Tanjore (approx 150 km/ 4 hrs). Places to visit: Brihadeshwara Temple, Art Gallery, and Palace & near by village to witness bronze metal crafts.
Today drive to Kumbakonam (Veppathur) (approx 48 km /1 hr). Afternoon visit Darasuram.
We proceed towards Pondicherry en route visit Ganagikondacholapuram (approx 140km / 4 hrs). Arrive Pondicherry. Afternoon visit some interesting sites of Pondicherry; Arvindo Ashram, Museum
, light house & walk around old Pondicherry, exploring old houses and mansions and Aruville.
Today depart to Mahabalipuram (approx 100 km/ 2hrs). Afternoon a sightseeing tour of Krishna Mandapam, Caves, Five Raths, Arjun’s Penance & Shore Temple. We are approaching to the end of our holiday. After the leisure of 2 days in Mahabalipuram, we depart to Chennai to board the flight back to your Home country.
